Experienced CFO and PE-backed transformation leader joins Red Helix to drive strategic scale, operational maturity and future acquisitions.

Red Helix today announced the appointment of Ben Dunn as Chief Strategy Officer, a newly expanded role that combines strategic leadership with CFO responsibility. Ben will steer Red Helix’s next phase of growth, including future M&A activity, building on the successful acquisition and integration of governance, risk and compliance specialist Risk Crew earlier this year.

A seasoned finance and strategic leader, Ben brings more than two decades of experience in private equity-backed businesses, technology services and commercial operations. His track record includes multiple successful exits, complex integrations and significant acquisition programmes across the education, technology and professional services sectors.

Ben has prepared four organisations for successful trade sale and was formerly CFO at Transforming Learning Group, SRI, Virtual IT and Strictly Education. In recent years Ben has overseen multiple acquisitions, systems integrations and professionalisation of business support functions.

Marion Stewart, CEO of Red Helix, commented:

“Ben is joining Red Helix at a pivotal moment. As demand for cyber resilience continues to grow, his experience in scaling PE-backed businesses and delivering successful acquisition strategies will strengthen our ability to expand with pace. His leadership will be instrumental as we build on the integration of Risk Crew and shape the next chapter of our growth.”

Ben Dunn, Chief Strategy Officer, added:

“Red Helix has a powerful proposition for organisations seeking a partner they can trust within an increasingly complex cyber landscape. The business is already delivering exceptional value to clients, and I’m delighted to help shape its long-term strategy. There is significant opportunity to scale further, and I look forward to supporting the team as we pursue our next phase of growth.”

His appointment reinforces Red Helix’s commitment to sustained growth, operational excellence and delivering trusted cyber resilience for organisations across the UK.
