Heat Exchangers
Sustainable cooling with Heat Extraction
How does 11 months of free cooling sound?
Liquid cooling can be up to 75% more efficient than traditional air-conditioning.
Powered by the active devices in your server cabinet, our rear door heat exchangers provide free cooling by connecting on to the rear panel of your existing IT/server cabinets and removing the heat generated by the active equipment at source.
In many cases, you’ll only need to use your existing air conditioning during summer heatwaves.
Our heat exchangers can also negate the need for hot/cold aisles – so you can optimise space and explore other room layout options.
Common features include:
- 42U, 47U, and 52U heights available
- 29kW, 92kW, and 200kW heat load removal options
- Fits to standard IT / server racks
- Available in black and white
Thanks to our heat exchangers, one client now enjoys 11 months of free data centre cooling per year. What impact would that have on your energy reduction and ESG targets?

FAQs
A heat exchanger is the site in which a transfer of heat takes place, typically from the energy source, to another state matter e.g., in a boiler, it would transfer from the gas source to the water which would then circulate through a home heating system.
Heat exchangers transfer energy between fluids without mixing them. It works via heat transfer through the fluids which is then circulated throughout a wider system.
Heat exchangers are often some form of a long, coiled pipe that is surrounded by the substance to be heated. This design prevents direct contact between the combustible gas and the water, thereby preventing the mixing of the two substances.
