What is G-Cloud?
G-Cloud is a UK government procurement framework that helps UK public sector organisations commission certain services without going through a separate procurement process. Procurement through a framework like this can be faster and more efficient.
How to use G-Cloud 14
All public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s length bodies, can use the Contract Award Service, accessed through the Public Procurement Gateway (PPG) to buy cloud services through the G-Cloud framework.
Buying services through the framework is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts. Eligible customers are listed in the contract notice for the agreement. Buyers will also need to be listed on the customer unique reference number (URN) list.
