Matt Leonards, Information Security Director at Fortis Cyber
Matt is the founder and cyber security principal at a specialist cyber security consultancy, Fortis Cyber. Matt brings 25 years of experience working in a range of communications and security leadership roles including: UK Military, signals intelligence, complex communications platform intelligence, UK Special Forces tactical communications and global enterprise information security.
Having broad and deep Cyber/Information Security expertise Matt engages with, and provides security advice to a range of senior, executive level stakeholders. Ensuring that security reporting or metrics must relate to the company’s strategy and business objectives and be presented in language that can be easily understood in those terms.
Matt was responsible for the cyber security of over 450 international financial services hosted trading systems across 22 global trading venues. He created the business functions and led the security architecture team to deliver technology growth initiatives including cyber security aspects on a global scale. Presently, Matt runs a specialist cyber security organisation providing expert level cyber security consulting services to industry.
Sarah Furness MA Cantab RAF
After graduating from Cambridge University, Sarah followed her dream to become a combat helicopter pilot in the RAF. As a Squadron Leader she led on operational combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
